As an integral member of our team, you'll manage crucial tax engagements, develop junior staff, and contribute to the Firm's growth.

About Your Role:

As a Tax Manager, you'll be the cornerstone of our client relationships and the mentor to our staff. From staying ahead of tax developments to crafting detailed client communications, you'll ensure high-quality service delivery that fosters trust and retention. You'll not just manage but inspire, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to both client work and firm strategy.

What You'll Do:

  • Be the Knowledge Hub: Keep abreast of the latest tax developments, guiding clients with clarity and strategic insight.
  • Client Advocacy: Develop nuanced, actionable communications and proposals, tailored to each client's needs and challenges.
  • Expert Navigation: Deep dive into specific industry sectors, building expertise that informs broader tax strategy.
  • Reliable Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and resource staff, setting them up for success in client engagements.
  • Business Growth: Drive the firm's growth by identifying new client opportunities and expanding current services.
  • Community Connector: Enhance our firm's community presence, building relationships that lead to new business.

What It Takes:

  • Experience: 5 years in taxation with a track record of leading teams and delivering exemplary client service.
  • Supervisory Skills: At least 1 year spent coaching and developing tax professionals.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Lacerte or similar tax software.
  • Education: Relevant degree and CPA license.
  • Physical: Ability to perform standard office tasks.
